Jocelyn Thorpe

Jocelyn Thorpe is an associate professor of women’s and gender studies at the University of Manitoba. Her research focuses on the history and legacies of colonialism in Canada. She is grateful to residential school Survivors for their courage and for their wisdom in creating the current opportunity for relationships among Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples and land based on mutual recognition and respect.
