Craig Benjamin is the Campaigner for the Human Rights of Indigenous Peoples for Amnesty International Canada. He has extensive experience advocating for the advancement of Indigenous rights nationally and internationally. Craig represented Amnesty during the final years of negotiation and adoption of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. He coordinated Amnesty’s participation in the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal’s recent hearing on discrimination in First Nations child welfare services.
